Full Season Position - April 3rd to October 13th, 2017; 28 weeks.

Starting wage $10/hr with raise in June based on evaluation.

April: Tuesdays & Wednesdays for an 8 hour shift, 8am-4:30pm.

May to October: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 7:30am-4:00pm.

Work tasks are mainly Cultivation with hand tools, Transplanting, Trellising and Pruning, Harvesting, Washing Produce, Packing CSA Boxes, General Cleanup. This position also adds the responsibility of Operating the Ambrosia Farmstand Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Given the seasonal aspect of this job, you will be offered two paid sick days and end of the season bonus when you fulfill the full season commitment. Previous experience in agriculture, customer service and retail is appreciated but not required.

 

Harvest Crew Position - May 1st to Sept 28th, 2017; 22 weeks.

Starting wage $10/hr with raise in June based on evaluation.

Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30am to 4pm.

Work tasks are primarily Harvesting, Washing Produce, Packing CSA Boxes, General Wash Station Cleanup. Additional field work includes Cultivation with hand tools, Trellising and PruningGiven the limited season of this job, you will be offered two paid sick days and an end of the season bonus when you fulfill the full season commitment. Previous experience in agriculture is appreciated but not required.

 

Corvallis Farmers Market Position* - May 2nd to November 21st: 30 weeks

Pay rate is $10/hr plus bonus end of market produce.

Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm.

Corvallis is a popular market and this will be the first year Ambrosia Farm enters as a vendor. We are looking for a reliable full season market helper to assist with unloading produce, vending for the duration of the market and loading at the end of the day. Corvallis locals could meet us at market or Veneta/Eugene area locals can meet at the farm and ride in the market van.

*Also accepting inquiries for market substitutes to cover shifts this season.
