At a Glance
CSA stands for community supported agriculture, which establishes a direct relationship with the farmer to the community. Members pay a share price to the farmer at the beginning of the growing season and are then provided a weekly box of fresh seasonal produce throughout the harvest season. Both consumers and farmers benefit from this method of distribution. On average, CSA members save 15% on retail pricing of fruits, vegetables and herbs. They are also guaranteed the freshest and highest quality harvest. The small scale farmer benefits from having upfront cash reserves in late winter and early spring to cover early season expenses, such as labor and seed. CSA programs allow for better field planning and minimize food waste. Best of all is the added benefit of establishing the community with a direct relationship to the farmer.

Salad Greens Share - 26 weeks: Last week of April to 3rd week in October - OPEN
Farming in the Willamette Valley offers us a unique ability to grow salad greens throughout the entire season, and even year round. Ambrosia Farm specializes in spring mix, spinach, arugula, mesclun, asian greens, microgreens, pea shoots and more. This share offers you a One Pound bag of fresh cut, washed, and pre-bagged greens. Use this share as an add-on to your Main Season share, or purchase only this share and simply enjoy one pound of fresh greens each week.
Produce U-Pick Share - 6 Months: May 1st to October 31st
Ambrosia Farm has been offering U-Pick crops for the past three years. Many of our locals know that as harvest season goes full swing, we have also opened the gates up each September for U-Pick on the entire garden. After three successful seasons of having the locals come out to pick their own crops we are now offering a whole new style of U-Pick CSA. Prepay for each month you would enjoy, and come out to the farm to harvest your weekly share of the bounty. Take as much from the garden as you feel you can use in a week, no strings attached. Joining this CSA program comes with two requirements: (1) There is an orientation meeting each month for harvest guidelines as new crops come available. (2) We kindly ask you only take from the garden what you will use for the week - no canning projects or food for friends and neighbors. You will be responsible for harvesting and washing your own crops but can enjoy all the fresh local organic produce you need! For those in need of garden therapy and keeping their hands dirty.
How it Works
Shares are individually packed into bins and are available for pick up at the location of your choice. Regardless of where you pickup, we kindly ask that you bring bags or baskets from home to transfer your produce into. A clipboard with members’ names on it will be at each pick-up site. Check off your name indicating that you have successfully picked up your share, and enjoy the fresh bounty of delicious food. There will be an opportunity to exchange unwanted produce at each location.
Where to Pick Up
Florence: Corner or Bay and Kingwood at the Florence Market, Tuesdays from 3pm-6pm
Veneta: Corner of 3rd and Broadway, Wednesdays 3pm-6pm or Saturdays 10am-2pm

CSA Member Perks
Our members are the foundation of the farm. When you visit Ambrosia Farm for U-Pick berries and the Farmstand, or visit us at farmers market, we offer 15% off your total purchase. Additionally, any time you would like to place a bulk order we provide our members wholesale pricing on available crops. Stocking up throughout the season and preserving food when readily available ensures you can enjoy top quality produce and canned or frozen food all year around.
Ambrosia Farm’s CSA Program is an integral part of our farming operation. We are glad you are considering joining as a member and hope to incentivize you to encourage your friends to sign up. When a new CSA member joins and lists you as a referral, Ambrosia Farm will give you a $15 farm voucher to be applied towards Farmstand purchases or your next year CSA membership fee.
We promise to deliver fresh produce for your weekly share. Members, please remember to pick up your produce, or call someone to pick-up for you. Logistics of connecting with you to organize another pickup can become overwhelming for us throughout the season. If you forget or something came up, call or email us to schedule another pick-up. We will hold missed shares for up to a week but can no longer guarantee peak freshness for late pick-ups.
Getting away to enjoy summer is important for everyone. We get it, and rest assured we offer two weeks vacation credit for Full Shares, and Greens Shares, and one week for Half Shares. $25 in farm credit ($7.50 for greens shares) will be issued to you for the share/shares you miss while you’re away. When you know that you’ll be out of town and won’t make a CSA pick-up, please let us know at least a week ahead of time in order to receive your credit.
Farm credits will be issued as a gift certificate. These are redeemable at our Farmers Market Stand, a future CSA membership, or when you place a Pre-Order.
