At a Glance
CSA stands for community supported agriculture, which establishes a direct relationship with the farmer to the community. Members pay a share price to the farmer at the beginning of the growing season and are then provided a weekly box of fresh seasonal produce throughout the harvest season. Both consumers and farmers benefit from this method of distribution. On average, CSA members save 15% on retail pricing of fruits, vegetables and herbs. They are also guaranteed the freshest and highest quality harvest. The small scale farmer benefits from having upfront cash reserves in late winter and early spring to cover early season expenses, such as labor and seed. CSA programs allow for better field planning and minimize food waste. Best of all is the added benefit of establishing the community with a direct relationship to the farmer.

U-Pick CSA - 6 Months: May 1st to October 31st / $100 per month or 6 months for $500
Ambrosia Farm has been offering U-Pick strawberries and blueberries for the past two years. Many of our locals know that as harvest season goes full swing, we have also opened the gates up each September for U-Pick on the entire garden. After two successful seasons of having the locals come out to pick their own crops we are now offering a whole new style of U-Pick CSA. Prepay for each month you would enjoy, and come out to the farm to harvest your weekly share of the bounty. Take as much from the garden as you feel you can use in a week, no strings attached. Joining this CSA program comes with two requirements: (1) There is an orientation meeting each month for harvest guidelines as new crops come available. (2) We kindly ask you only take from the garden what you will use for the week - no canning projects or food for friends and neighbors. You will be responsible for harvesting and washing your own crops but can enjoy all the fresh local organic produce you need! For those in need of garden therapy and keeping their hands dirty.
Yes! Ambrosia Farm is Veneta's Certified Naturally Grown U-Pick Berry Farm and Roadside Farmstand, open every Wednesday to Saturday from 10am-4pm. We are just a short drive from Eugene and more than happy to show our CSA Members the farm during business hours.
